Entrepreneurship Academy – from idea to business
The general objective of the project is represented by the development of entrepreneurial culture and promoting a positive attitude towards the entrepreneurism in North and North West regions from Romania, for the improvement of the performance and competitiveness of the SMEs in the European economic area.
The specific objectives of the project are:
1. Supporting the development of entrepreneurial and managerial skills by providing training, couching and mentoring packages in the initiation and development of businesses.
2. Establishment and development of innovative and competitive companies by stimulating entrepreneurial potential within an interregional network of entrepreneurship offices.
The target group is represented by entrepreneurs and people who want to initiate an independent activity, in the West and Northwest part of Romania (600 entrepreneurs and 100 people who want to initiate an independent activity).
Implementing all the actions from the project will lead to the achievment of the following results:
Output indicators:
- Number of people trained to start a business – 100
- Number of people trained to start a business, of which women – 50
- Number of people that have benefited of actions for the development and the initiation of businesses – 1020
- Number of people that have participated to actions for the development of managerial skills – 300
- Number of participants to training – continuous professional training – 700
- Number of ESF participants – women – 350
Results:
- The share of beneficiaries of training courses that initiate new business (%) – 5
- Number of people who have started an independent activity - continuous professional training – 5

Other results:
• A1 – Launching Seminars: 5 seminars organized; 100 participants;
• A2 - Establishment and operation of Entrepreneurship office: 5 functional offices; 250 people counseled;
• A3 - Entrepreneurial Education Programme: 10 courses organized; 50 course series; 700 trained people ;
• A4 - Summer School “Entrepreneurship - a career option": 1 summer school organized; 40 participants;
• A5 - Business plans competition: 5 preliminary phases organized; 1 final phase; 50 participants to the preliminary phases; 25 participants at the final stage; 5 cash prizes awarded; 5 new companies founded;
• A6 - Elaborating the guide: "How to start up a European Enterprise”: 1 guide elaborated; 1500 copies of the guide printed and distributed;
• A7 – Study visits: 3 study visits organized; 17 participants per visit (7 members of the team project and 10 trainee); 51 participants to the study visits;
• A8 –Final conference: 1 final conference organized; 70 participants.
